Awstats error

July 1, 2007 · Filed Under Web Hosting Control Panels

Hi,

I am receiving the below error while updating the AwStats manually (using “Update Now” link):

Error: Couldn’t open server log file “C:\Domains\domain.com\logs\W3SVC2362\ex070630.log” : No such file or directory Setup (‘c:\awstats\wwwroot\cgi-bin/awstats.domain.conf’ file, web server or permissions) may be wrong. Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in ‘docs’ directory).

Thanks,

Scott

Browse your website and then try to generate the stats through ‘Update Now’ link. You are receiving above error because your site has received zero hit. Hence, the log file is still not created. Once, you browse your site; it will create it and you will be able to update the stats.

    Thanks,
